What is Ganpati Festival?

Ganesha Chaturthi is the Hindu festival celebrated in honour of the god Ganesha, the elephant-headed, remover of obstacles and the god of beginnings and wisdom. The festival, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, is observed in the Hindu calendar month of Bhaadrapada, starting on the shuklachaturthi. The date usually falls between 19 August and 20 September. The festival lasts for 10 days, ending on Anant Chaturdashi.
The festival involves installing clay images of Ganesha in public pandals(temporary shrines), which are worshipped for ten days with different variety of herbal leaves, plants and immersed at the end of the festival in a water(lake) along with the Idol. After adding herbal and medicated plants and leaves(patri) in lakes, the water in the lake becomes purified. This was in practice because, in early days people used to drink lake water, and to protect people with infections and viral diseases especially in this season, this tradition was introduced. Some Hindus also install the clay images of Ganesha in their homes. It is believed that Ganesha bestows his presence on earth for all his devotees during this festival. The festival is celebrated as a public event since the days of Shivaji (1630–1680).
While celebrated all over India, it is most elaborate in Maharashtra and other parts of western india. 

So now I m going to write about impact of Ganesh Chaturthi Festival on different businesses. 

As we all know Business is all about making profit and which Business person will not like to turn these festive season opportunities into sales and increase their profits.
So as it is Ganesh chaturthi whether it is any giant business tycoon or any small entrepreneur all are making best of it so that they can earn more and more bucks.

As we can see this image is advertised by event company , this advertisement depicts event related to ganesh chaturthi organised by event company on specific location and other details are provided realted to ganesh chaturthi puja. This advertisement will help event company to gather mass pool of people at the event place.

Here in above picture Lenovo is providing contest for its end consumer as Ganesh Chaturthi festive offer. In this advertisement we can see Lenovo is luring people through Bike and LCD T.V and making them choose its specefic model.

In above advertisement Onida attracting  its end consumer through cutting its price as Ganesh Chaturthi Festive offer. It will ultimately help company to increase its sales in Ganesh Chaturthi festival period.

In this picture clothing retail company  is providing flat 30% off on this specefic sale collection , so campany is increasing its sales clearing its stock and luring people through providing 30 % off as Ganesh Chaturthi festival offer.
